CF-BYR is a Piel Emeraude Model CP301.
Built by Vern Glass it was completed in 1971 and first flown May 6, 1971. CF-BYR is powered by a Continental 0200 and has a total time of 897 hours. Construction is primarily wood frame with fabric covering. Construction of the elliptical wing components can be a difficult process because each rib requires a separate jig but the airfoil and planform results in delightful flying qualities.
